When it comes to restoration and renovation projects, they can be done either at our studio or on site.  Photos on this page depict Michel working on the renovation project of the six royal chambers of the Royal Palace at Stirling Castle, Scotland: as the original decorations were all gone, in collaboration with Historic Scotland's architects, Michel helped custom design and hand-paint the friezes and trompe-l'oeil ornaments and moldings of these royal chambers, taking into consideration the Renaissance style of the time.  For this project, egg tempera was used to respect the techniques used 500 years ago!
