The Stain and Finishing Oil (SFO) is a wood conditioner, a stain and a top coat all in one.  It offers exceptional durability in high traffic areas like table tops, kitchen cabinets, and can even be used on flooring.

SFO can be used on bare wood or over previously painted surfaces.  No additional top coat is required, it is highly durable as is.  If you're looking for added durability, applying a coat of Natural will increase sheen and durability without intensifying your color.

Applications:

- If you apply it over Fusion Mineral Paint for a glaze effect or to increase the sheen, we recommend that you remove the excess right away, as the SFO will not soak in and may leave a sticky finish that will take a few days to dry.  To increase the sheen and offer superior durability, use the Natural color over Fusion Mineral Paint colors.  You can also brush on one of the pigmented colors and wipe off immediately for a beautiful, easy glaze effect.

- SOF's special blend is highly concentrated in pigment, so a little goes a long way.  With the 237ml container you will be able to cover the same area as 1 liter of comparable stains.

- Please keep in mind that all oil based products typically yellow in time, so if you use this over white paint, it will cause a slight yellowing effect.  We recommend that you use Tough Coat over lighter colors to avoid yellowing.

How to Use on Bare Wood

1. Prep your surface by removing any existing coating until bare wood is revealed
2. Apply SFO by pouring or brushing on a thin layer
3. Wait 15-20 minutes and then wipe away excess using a lint-free rag
4. Optional: add a second coat after 9 hours for a deeper color or for more sheen

1. Apply SFO by pouring or brushing on a thin layer
