MODULE 3 - Panoramics and Painted Murals Course
This program will focus on the fundamental techniques that will help you in successfully painting a mural; you will start with an in-depth study on how to properly do a perspective drawing, which is an essential 'tool' for all serious decorative painting artists and muralists.
After you study the composition, the various formats and colors, you will then be led to render a mural that will allow you to study the techniques of skies, clouds, landscape, trees, foliage, etc. as well as the techniques of drapery and portrait. You will be working on a mural that the instructor designed especially for this class.
November 27th, 2017 to December 22nd, 2017 (4 weeks / a total of 140 hours of training).
Venue : NEWS!! Our next autumn/winter session will be held in the town of AGEN in the Lot et Garonne.
This is to facilitate transportation and also to give access to a wider choice of accommodation. Agen can be reached by bullet train from Paris, either directly from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport or from Montparnasse train station (quicker). PROGRAM by week
Week 1 - from November 27th to December 1st, 2017 (5 days)
Study of perspective drawing applied to painted murals. How to render a maquette.
Weeks 2 and 3 - from December 4th to December 15th, 2017 (10 days)
Rendering of a painted mural using the techniques of perspective, techniques of the sky, drapery, landscape, trees, foliage, portrait and anatomy.
Week 4 - from December 18th to December 22nd, 2017 (5 days)
Rendering of a seascape, with study of how to paint the sky, the waves, the water, the foams of the sea.
